Hello everyone, I am the youngest girl in the factory.

The particle size of the inoculant should not be too fine or too coarse. 
If the particle size is too coarse, 
it cannot be dissolved and absorbed by the molten iron more quickly, 
and the residual undissolved inoculant particles mixed into 
the casting will deteriorate performance or lead to scrap. 
The particle size should not be too fine. 
The powdered inoculant is easy to be oxidized and burned, 
lose the inoculum effect, 
and will cause slag inclusions in the casting. 
For the ferrosilicon inoculant containing 75% Si,
 the 0.5T molten iron is treated by the infusion method. 
When the temperature of the molten iron is 1390-1450 °C, 
the particle size of the inoculant is preferably 1-3 mm. 
If the amount of molten iron is small or the temperature is low or
 the instantaneous inoculation method is used, 
the particle size should be 0.2-2mm.
